Events We've got the data - what now?

Starting in the winter semester of 2024, our workshop series ‘We’ve got the data – what now?’ will present approaches to data-driven research in the humanities, including the relevant software tools and workflows.

The workshops are primarily aimed at early-career researchers, who are often faced with the question of whether and how their current or planned projects can benefit from the use of data-driven research methods. In addition to showcasing example projects from the humanities and social sciences, we also intend to demonstrate the methods presented using new datasets provided by the interested community. In the spirit of a ‘bring your own data’ approach, all participants are therefore warmly invited to bring their own datasets and research questions and join us on a journey across the seas of data.
